Next Meeting of the Work Group Professional Experience

Dear Colleagues,
I am pleased to invite you to the next meeting, which
should re-launch the work of our Work Group. If some time has passed
since our last meeting, it is only because time was needed to gather fresh
information on the situation in the different countries of our Member
Organisations and to better understand the expectations of the ACE in
relation to our work.
During recent coordination meetings, it has become clear
that there are numerous expectations in relation to our work on professional
experience that must be focussed on the following aspects:
- Academic training (in coordination with the establishment
of a system of validation)
- Practical training
- Professional qualification
Monday 2nd June was chosen because a meeting
to coordinate activities in Thematic Area 1 has been fixed for the 27th
May, thus allowing us to take account of what will be decided at that
meeting and Mondays have proven to be convenient for members of the Work
Group in the past.
In accordance with the points previously discussed at
Coordination meetings, we must treat the following matters during our
next meetings:
- The state of play of work in the Work Group
- Analysis and integration of new results
- Means to create a network of correspondents susceptible to supply any
missing information
- Preparation of a comparative list of competences related to the different
reference documents
- Listing of the various professional experience competences that could
be the subject of complimentary training
- Preparation of a common base
- Timetable for the work
